Bearberry
BEARBERRY Native
arctostaphylos uva-ursi grows in Zones 4-9 up to 30cm high.
An excellent ground cover and is native to Canada. Does especially
well on light soils. The leaves are small, similar to boxwood,
and turn a brilliant crimson in late winter.
Available in sizes 4" pot, 1 gallon pot.
Bog-Rosemary
BOG-ROSEMARY
Andromeda polifolia grows in Zones 2-9 up to 30cm high.
A low creeping shrub with pink urn-shaped flowers on short upright
branches. Needs moist, acid soil.
Available in sizes 25cm, 30cm
Broom
BROOM
Cytissus praecox "Warminster Broom" grows in Zones 6-9 up
to 1.5m high.
Deciduous, small to medium size shrub with long slender stems in
dense clumps. Tiny inconspicuous bright green leaves. Long sprays of blooms
along the branches in spring.
Available in (1 gal.) 25cm
Daphne
DAPHNE
Daphne cneorum "Rose Daphne" grows in Zones 2b-9 up to 30cm
high.
Exquisite shrub, bearing clusters of the most fragrant pink flowers.
Blooms in April - May and again in September - October. Thrives in dry
sand soils.
Available in sizes 30cm, 40cm, 50cm
Firethorn
CHADWICH FIRETHORN
Pyracantha coccinea "Chadwickii" grows in Zones 4-9 up to
1.8m high.
A spreader that fruits well. Has plenty of orange berries and is
much hardier than other species.
Available in sizes 40cm, 50cm, 60cm
ORANGE GLOW FIRETHORN
Pyracantha coccinea "Orange Glow" grows in Zones 6-9 up to
2m high.
stiff shiny leaves and thorny branches makes this a good barrier
plant. Masses of orange berries that last well into the winter.
Available in sizes 40cm, 50cm, 60cm
Paxistima
CANBY PAXISTIMA
Paxistima canbyi grows in Zones 2-9 up to 30cm high.
Low growing evergreen bush. Tiny reddish coloured flowers appear
in May.
Available in 25cm
Rhododendron
RHODODENDRONS
Rhododendrons grows in Zones 6-9 up to 1.2m high.
Cultivars available upon request.
Available in sizes 40cm, 50cm, 60cm
Yucca
ADAM'S NEEDLE
Yucca filamentosa grows in Zones 4-9 up to 1m high.
Tall spikes of creamy white flowers 1.5 metres high in July/August.
Available in sizes 30cm, 40cm, 50cm
SPANISH BAYONET
Yucca glauca grows in Zones 3-9 up to 1m high.
Narrow rigid leaves with loose spikes of creamy white flowers in
July.
Available in sizes 30cm, 40cm, 50cm
